About Boxer
Scrapbooks
Boxer Scrapbook Productions, LLC began back in August of 2001.
With only 3 products, the journey began, and has since expanded to
include nearly 1000 unique products, including exclusive paper,
sticker and stamp designs.
It's a family
affair.
Boxer is owned by the mother-daughter team of Vicki and Angie
Warhurst. Vicki is a lifelong crafter, who loves sewing,
cardmaking and rubber stamping. Angie learned many of her
crafting skills from Vicki, and dove right into scrapbooking.
She also enjoys quilting, shopping for fabric, and cardmaking.
Mike Warhurst, Vicki's husband and Angie's father, was also a
fixture at Boxer. Mike was the local order delivery person,
order packer, heavy box lifter, Boxer's biggest cheerleader, and so
much more. Mike was killed in an automobile accident on July
14, 2006, but the memories of him live on.
Why Boxer?
Many people ask why "Boxer Scrapbooks"? Our family has always
loved the Boxer breed of dogs, dating back to the 1930's, when
Angie's Great-Grandfather had one as a seeing-eye dog. Mike
remembered that dog with affection, so in 1978, they acquired their
first Boxer as a family pet. Since then, it's been nothing but
Boxer's for the Warhurst family, until Molly the Black Lab joined
them in 2002.
Who's on
the logo?
That boxer pictured is Dani, a small female fawn boxer Angie got the
summer of 1992. We lost Dani to old age in December 2002, but
she continues her reign as head of the house as our logo! The
Boxer tradition continues today, with Angie's 80lb brindle named
Harley, and Vicki's 70lb fawn named Koda.
